FAQ

A yooz is a new use for a common good. It is using a product for a purpose other than what it was intended. This could also be viewed as a lifehack for an object.

Any yooz you think of can be added. Please know that others can comment on a yooz both positive and negative as to the effectiveness of he yooz.

YouYooz was designed and developed in the summer of 2020.

For the feed tab to display yooz, you must select at least one category to follow. You are welcome to choose tags as well as users to follow, but that is not required.

A tag is a word or short set of words that will allow others to more easily search for your yooz or connect it with other yooz. It is suggested that when a new yooz is added, one or more tags are assigned to it.

The blog is a way for YouYooz to communicate with you by providing helpful posts.

In the upper right hand corner of the site, select where it says "Welcome" with your user name. Once selected, a drop down will be displayed where "Edit Profile" can be selected.

Only fields with a small red star after them are required. Others are optional. No information will be shared with any other groups or third parties.

To follow or favorite a yooz, select the "Followers" or star buttons respectively underneath a yooz. The star or favorite will not show up on a general feed.

Points on the site are to show how much activity you have done on it. As you do more, you gain points and earn more badges.
